I build mobile apps and data pipelines for health research. Most of my time goes to StudySync, the Snyder Lab's platform for wearable and health data studies. Before that I led app development at UCSB's META Lab, and I co-built an AI voice assistant for realtors that won the Pivot Award at the UCSB New Venture Competition.

Work
Snyder Lab, Stanford University
I work on StudySync, which collects wearable and health data for research studies. I designed the Apple HealthKit ingestion pipeline that grew supported metrics from 17 to over 250, storing more than 100K daily records from 170+ users on a Node.js and TimescaleDB backend. I lead the iOS and Android apps (Swift and Kotlin), which now onboard participants for 6 studies across 3 countries. I also shipped an analytics copilot that turns researchers' natural-language questions into charts through Claude tool-calling on AWS Bedrock, with PHI kept server-side so the model never sees raw health data.

META Lab, UC Santa Barbara
I led development of the Curiosity App for M. Gross and J. Schooler's research on curiosity. The app supported a pilot study with senior adults and a published study on students that was covered in Psychology Today, the SB Independent, and KCBX. I migrated the app from Flutter 2.10 to 3.32, redesigned its Firestore schema, and designed and built 22 new screens.

Jevi, UCSB New Venture Competition
Jevi is an AI voice assistant and CRM for realtors: Swift on iOS, Go on the backend, ReactJS on the frontend, with OpenAI Realtime for voice. After 40 discovery interviews we piloted it with realtors from Village Properties and Goodwyn & Thyne, who held 150+ voice conversations and completed 1,200+ tasks through the assistant. We won the Pivot Award at the UCSB New Venture Competition and were 1 of 8 teams selected for the finals.

Plunge SB
I built the registration website for an Isla Vista ocean plunge benefiting the Marine Conservation Network. It served 1,900 visitors and took 331 registrations, and the Stripe integration raised five times more than the previous year.
